Shipping methods
If you live in one of the 48 contiguous states of the United States, there are three shipping options available to you.
The first method is the Standard shipping. This will take around 3-7 business days and ranges from $4.95 for small orders under $15 to 10% of your order price for orders over $220.01.
If you would like to receive your items a little quicker, you can choose the 2-Day shipping method. The price for this option starts at $17.90 for the smallest orders, with the largest orders being charged at $12.95 plus 10% of your overall order value.
Next Day Air shipping is the fastest method that you will find from Crate and Barrel, so if you’ve left everything to the last minute and really need to get your items urgently, this is the ideal option to choose. The cost for this starts at $29.90 and increases through the price bands until it will cost 10% of your total order value plus an extra $24.95.
Shipping restrictions
With millions of addresses in the United States, it’s no surprise that there are some addresses for which certain options are not available.
Military addresses will not be able to select 2-Day shipping or Next Day Air, and the only available option is Standard shipping.
Next Day Air is not available for PO Box addresses, which means that the quickest method to use is the 2-Day shipping option.
Addresses within Hawaii, Alaska and the US Territories will be charged international rates. You can get a quote by using the online order form or by contacting the Customer Service team.
Other methods
There are several other methods which can be used, such as Basic Freight which takes 7-10 business days. This costs between $89 and $159, depending on the value of your items.
Local in-home delivery fees will vary depending on how far away you are from a shipping point. For example, addresses within 50 miles of a shipping point will be charged $59, while those up to 100 miles away will need to pay $79.
