Shipping charges
Land of Nod partners with various shipping companies to make sure your goods are delivered safely and on time. Shipping costs are calculated from the total value of the merchandise and vary from $4.95 - 10% of the total amount of goods. However, tons of free shipping discount codes are available if you want to have those fees wavered. A standard delivery takes 5-7 business days and is used for shipping Lickety split items and accessories. Additional shipping costs are applicable in certain scenarios like expedited shipping, heavy items etc.
Policy for personalized items
Items that are made according to a personalized order take 2-3 weeks. For certain items like Nod Chairs, One-seaters, and Bean Bags, insets and covers are shipped separately. The inserts arrive in 5-7 business days while it will take 2-3 weeks for the personalized covers to arrive. Expedited shipping is currently not available for personalized orders. The charges for shipping of personalized orders include item selection, order processing, handling, packaging, and transportation.
Expedited shipping
A rush delivery is made in 2-3 business days and starts at $12.95 for orders placed by 12 PM CST. Following business day delivery starts at $24.95 for order placed by 12 PM CST. All expedited delivery charges are in addition to the standard shipping charges and additional charges will be incurred in case of heavy and bulkier items.
Delivery outside the Continental U.S
An additional $10 shipping is applied to standard deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii and U.S territories and takes 7-15 business days. Rush deliveries take 3-5 business days with additional incremental charges while shipping quotes for larger items are provided upon request.
Furniture shipping
Flat rates starting from $45 apply on shipping furniture for under $450 orders and are based on distance from 35 shipping points across the US. To ensure there is someone present to receive the furniture, a call is made 1-2 days prior to delivery and 2-3-hour window is provided. Furniture delivery includes a two-man service, packaging removal and placement in a room. For shipping outside of the scope of company’s 35 shipping points, the exact costs are made available while checking-out. Customers can get a separate quote for deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii and U.S territories.
Option for picking up the furniture yourself
Customers can also opt to pick up the furniture themselves from Naperville, IL, Los Angles, CA and Seattle, WA warehouses and save themselves the delivery charges. Sales tax will still be applicable and a notice of at least 48 hours is required to ensure the availability of the furniture.
AP/FPO
AP/FPO shipping is made using parcel post and tracking information will not be available once delivered. Heavier or larger items cannot be shipped using parcel post.
