Wolferman's is committed to getting your order to you in perfect condition and within the shortest time, so the company uses the best delivery services to serve its clients. The shipping costs at Wolferman's cover the cost of transporting the order and preserving it while it's on transit unless you use a Wolferman's free shipping code of course.
There are two modes of shipping used to deliver an order; standard and express shipping. The cost of shipping is based on the price (before taxes) or the products to be transported and if a Wolferman's shipping code is used.
With standard shipping, when an order is placed, shipping is done the next business day. The perishables are transported in controlled temperatures to ensure they remain fresh. It normally takes a maximum of seven days for an order to get to its recipient.
Standard shipping, has a price schedule for shipping based on the price of the order to be shipped. For example:
- Orders from $0.01 to $15.00 are shipped at $4.99.
- Orders from $15.01 to $25.00 are shipped at $6.99.
- Orders from $25.01 to $35.00 are shipped at $8.99.
- Orders from $35.01 to $45.00 are shipped at $9.99.
- Orders from $45.01 to $60.00 are shipped at $11.99.
- Orders from $60.01 to $75.00 are shipped at $12.99.
The shipping cost compared to the price of the order follows a trend. As the price of the order increases, shipping cost, when looked at as a percentage of the order price, decreases. Goods that cost over $180 only have a 10% shipping cost attached to them except for items used with Wolferman's free shipping codes .
The cost of express shipping is arrived at by adding an amount over and above the standard cost, depending on how fast the order is to be delivered.
- To have an order shipped in three business days, $9.99 is added to each ordered item over and above the standard shipping rate
- To have an order shipped in two business days, $11.99 is added to each ordered item over and above the standard shipping rate
- To have an order shipped overnight, $19.99 is added to each ordered item over and above the standard shipping rate
- For a priority overnight shipment, $24.99 is added to each ordered item over and above the standard shipping rate
Gift cards and greeting cards do not attract a shipping cost under the standard shipping pricing regime. To have them delivered in two days, a charge of $7.99 is levied. To have the gift basket delivered overnight, and extra $10.99 is added to the cost of the order.
Standing orders like monthly deliveries have very competitive shipping costs.
- Monthly breakfast club orders are shipped at $6.99 if a six-month order is placed
- Monthly fruit club orders are delivered at $5.99 when a six-month order is placed
- Monthly light fruit club orders are shipped at $4.99 when a six-month order is placed

Orders are shipped to addresses in the continental U.S under the pricing schedule detailed in the standard and express shipping rates.
Deliveries to Alaska and Hawaii incur a charge $9.99 per item over and above the standard shipping rates. This also applies for orders delivered to Canada.
Wolferman's no longer ships internationally, deliveries are only made to addresses in the U.S and Canada. Wolferman's promo offers do not cover duty charges.
Terms and conditions
So that orders are received in perfect condition, Wolferman's prefers to ship to street addresses as opposed to P.O. Boxes. An extra charge of $5.99 is charged for delivery to P.O. Box shipping addresses. Every effort is made to get the correct shipping address from the client. Deliveries are made only to the address provided, and any forwarding of the order incurs an extra charge.
Wolferman's collects sales taxes for the states where the deliveries are made, if any such taxes are levied. Wine shipments are exempt from these taxes.
